FIVE, the signature rooftop restaurant of Hotel Calimala Milan, is now open. Located on the fifth and sixth floors of Hotel Calimala Milan, FIVE brings a contemporary dining experience from day to night to the vibrant Porta Venezia district, combining urban energy with timeless style.
An all-day destination, FIVE follows the rhythm of the city, with a bright, relaxed atmosphere during the day, flowing seamlessly between long social lunches and work meetings, before transitioning into golden aperitivo hours. In the evening, the atmosphere changes as the softly lit space is complemented by candlelight and the curated playlists are given a late-night soundtrack, creating a lively and cozy neighborhood destination. Guests have the option to dine in the main dining room or in The Salon, with cozy lounge-style seating, ideal for an aperitif or aperitivo.
FIVE offers a contemporary take on Italian cuisine, with bold and vibrant flavors, led by seasonal ingredients and designed for sharing. Highlights include the agnolotti with potatoes and Parmigiano Reggiano in a lemon butter and sage sauce, and the risotto with roasted zucchini cream, Parmigiano Reggiano, finished with citrus zest. The signature main courses are all about comfort and culinary precision, including the cheeseburger, served on a milk bun with remoulade, and the classic steak and fries with pepper sauce. Each dish reflects a playful yet refined approach to modern Italian cuisine.
The experience is anchored by the cocktail program, where guests can enjoy both classic favorites such as the Negroni and Aperol Spritz, as well as signature creations such as The Tiramisù, White Lotus and Mazcalita Sumak. Premium spirits and seasonal ingredients shine, with an approach that is unpretentious yet refined, emphasizing flavor and balance over spectacle.
In April, FIVE will open its outdoor patio and pool deck, which features one of the city’s only rooftop pools. The sophisticated setting offers breathtaking views of the city, alongside a menu of intentional snacks and signature cocktails, ideal for socializing and unwinding. More than just a restaurant, FIVE is a rooftop destination where locals and visitors come together to eat, drink, work and relax. Seamlessly combining dining, cocktails and atmosphere, the space delivers a cohesive experience that invites guests to linger and enjoy every moment.
