First glance unveiled by Sean Bean and Connie Nielsen in ‘Robin Hood’

MGM+ has shared the first image of the upcoming drama series ‘Robin Hood’, which debuts later this year.
The shot features Sean Bean (“Game of Thrones,” “The Lord of the Rings”) as the Sheriff of Nottingham alongside Connie Nielsen (“Gladiator,” “Wonder Woman”) as Eleanor of Aquitaine – offering “a glimpse at the tense rivalries and high-stakes power struggles at the heart of this reimagined take on the Legendary Tale, “Accordance to a release.
MGM+ describes the show as a “smart, sweeping, romantic adventure that brings historical authenticity, psychological depth and an increased focus on the relationship between Rob and Marian.”
The Logline for “Robin Hood” Says, “Following the Norman Invasion of England, Rob – A Saxon Forester’s Son – And Marian, the daughter of a Norman Lord – Fall in Love and Work Together to Fight for Justice and Freedom. MARIALTER OUTLAWS, As Both Work Together to Thwart Royal Corruption and Bring Peace to the Land. ”
Jack Patten (“War Machine”) plays Rob and Lauren McQueen (“Masters of the Air”) is Marian.
The series also plays Lydia Peckham (“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”), Steven Waddington (“The Trap”), Marcus Fraser (“Foundation”), Angus Castle-Doughty (“Shadow and Bone”) and Henry Rowley.
The Showrunner is John Glenn (“Seal Team”) and the director is Jonathan English (“Bibliotharians: the next chapter”). Glenn and Engels are writers and executive producers in the series.
Todd Lieberman van Hidden Pictures Executive produces, with Carly Elter and Nicole Bryant of hidden photos that supervise the project for the company.
In addition to premiere on MGM+ in the US, the series will be available for MGM+ viewers in the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, Latin -America, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
