The source said The Daily Mail: “Although they have not been in contact (since the film), Sandra is aware that he is in bad shape and is monitoring the situation and obviously hoping for the best.”

Aaron portrayed NFL star Michael Oher, a homeless black teenager who drifted in and out of the school system before Leigh Anne Tuohy, played by Bullock, adopted him.

The actor has struggled with ongoing weight issues, causing him to dramatically lose 200 pounds last year, which “has been a lifelong situation and has always been something to keep an eye on.”

“So if he survives, there will be a renewed focus on his overall health after so many years have taken their toll.

“But it will take a few days of anxiety before full results come,” the source said.
