Fannie Mae fires more than 100 employees, referring to unethical behavior

Bill Pulte, the director of the FHFA, who is also chairman of the GSEs boards, posted an official announcement with regard to the fire on social media platform X. on Tuesday afternoon.

“At President Trump’s housing market there is no room for fraud, mortgage fraud or another deceptive act that can endanger the safety and solidity of housing,” Pulte said. “Since my sworn we have fired more than 100 employees from Fannie Mae that we have caught on unethic behavior, including facilitating fraud, against our large company. Everyone who commits fraud against Fannie Mae does this against the American people.”

His statement seems to at least partially confirm reports that employees of the GSE used a corresponding trade fair program.

Per time of India, the affected employees reportedly collaborated with non -profit organizations such as Telugu Association of North America (Tana) to mislead companies.

Various Indian points of sale reported that Fannie Mae fired no fewer than 700 American employees.
