Exp -Team leader David Brooke about overcoming myths in the industry

Velt: You are at EXP and have a team, a downline and a coaching platform. How do all those pieces come together?

Brooke: Well, the missions cross each other with a very simple sentence that I have taken over over the years, which is ‘requirement excellence’. And when I started in this industry, there were a lot, I don’t want to call them lies, because it feels like that is goal -oriented. But I believed many things that were incorrect about the company – that others said about the company, or about themselves or about their own experiences.

He said these myths were his early career in ways that caused setbacks – especially financially. These experiences now drive his approach as a leader.

Brooke: I just remember how that influenced my life and the direction it cost me financially when I listened to that advice. And so my job is like a real estate coach – someone in someone’s upline or even as a team leader – to talk to what I know has not only worked for myself, but for so many sellers.

And I want to be clear about this that it is not only sales agents of residential real estate. I am talking about only sellers in general – the ability to relate to someone from not knowing anything about them, the possibility to answer a very fast basis with them.
