EXCLUSIVE: Royal Staff Launches ‘Mission: Erase Andrew Windsor’

Prince Andrew is literally being erased from royal life as staff carry out what insiders jokingly call ‘Mission: Erase Andrew Windsor’, with the disgraced former duke preparing for a ‘recluse-like retirement’ after being forced out of his old home.

If RadarOnline.com has reported that Windsor, 66, was ordered by his brother King Charles, 77, to leave the 31-room Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park following mounting fallout from his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The royal outcast has now moved to the Sandringham estate in Norfolk after more than two decades working at Royal Lodge.

A source said: “Those involved have described what is happening as a full-on ‘Mission: Erase Andrew Windsor’, and there is a real sense of urgency to continue this. This is not being handled slowly or symbolically – it is being carried out in a very deliberate and thorough way, to remove any visible connection to him as quickly as possible.”

The insider added: “The directive from the top is unmistakable. Everything associated with Andrew, whether personal belongings, personnel arrangements or signs of his former presence, must be completely removed from the Lodge.

“At the same time, he has become aware that this marks a major change in his life, with the expectation that he will step back into what many are calling a ‘recluse retirement’, which will see him withdraw completely from public royal life until he is in the grave.

Royal aides have spent the past few days clearing assets from the property, including staff quarters, filling and removing several containers. Some items were also burned on the property, which reportedly belonged to Windsor staff.

A source said: “Andrew was given very clear instructions that nothing was to be left behind – no item that could link the property to him or his time there. This is being treated as a complete reset of the space.”

“Behind the scenes there is a strong determination to ensure that once this process is complete, there is no visible trace of the former residents or how the household previously functioned. The aim is to leave it as if that chapter has been completely closed.”

The once busy estate appears largely deserted, with fewer visible staff and reduced security presence. Aerial photos show containers at the front and back of the home, underscoring the scale of the evacuation efforts.

The source noted: “The mood around the Lodge estate has completely changed – it now feels eerily quiet and almost deserted compared to the level of activity it once had. What used to be a busy, fully staffed Royal Household is now being methodically emptied and stripped back to its essentials.”

“It really shows how far this process goes,” the insider added. “The scale of the evacuation and the absence of people there now make it clear that he is being permanently removed from the royal stage in a highly visible and permanent way.”

Andrew has also lost his personal security details, official allowance and access to staff such as a clerk, meaning he will now rely on private support rather than taxpayer-funded resources. In Sandringham, a mobile home has been installed near his new home at Marsh Farm to accommodate security staff if necessary.

He was interrogated for almost 12 hours by Thames Valley police on his 66th birthday over allegations of misconduct in public office relating to his time as British trade envoy. Emails cited in US documents appear to show him sharing information about international visits and investment opportunities with Epstein.

The former prince has not publicly responded to the latest claims but denies any wrongdoing related to his ties to Epstein.

Pressure is also increasing on Windsor to cooperate with US authorities investigating Epstein’s network, even though he has not traveled to the United States for several years.
