The stars came out in droves to watch the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX.
The Patriots, led by quarterback Drake Mayeplayed Sam Darnold‘s Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in California on Sunday, February 8.
Among the stars present is Cardi B who is dating Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs.
“I’m very excited and very happy for him, very proud of him,” Cardi said told NFL Network following the Patriots AFC Championship win last month. “He just came back from an ACL [injury] and I saw the progress and the process [and he’s put in] discipline and work. It’s not like, ‘Oh, you wake up and you’re great.’ It’s discipline. It goes to bed early, it wakes up early, it doesn’t miss a single day of work, nothing.”
Brandi CarlileMeanwhile, she’s gunning for a win with the Seahawks, but she hasn’t been able to wear merchandise for her hometown team since she performed “America the Beautiful” before kickoff.
“I wear a Seahawks jersey in my heart,” Carlile said Variety before the big game. “You know, people say to me, ‘Oh, isn’t it complicated and difficult to get involved in something like the Super Bowl in these times?’ And there is a lot of validity in that observation. I don’t disagree with that, but it does become a little easier when it’s your team.”
