Ethiopian Aviation University Graduates Over 450 Aviation Professionals from 12 Countries | News


Ethiopian Aviation University, Africa’s largest aviation center, graduates 457 aviation professionals from 12 countries. The graduates were trainees from the university’s pilot training, aircraft maintenance training and cabin crew training. To honor the achievement of the interns, the university held a lively graduation ceremony at its facility today.

At today’s graduation ceremony, 58 pilots, 115 aircraft maintenance technicians and 284 cabin crew will begin their careers in aviation. The graduating class included interns from Ethiopia, Cameroon, Chad, Gabon, Italy, Madagascar, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Yemen, reflecting the university’s growing international reach and multicultural learning environment.

Commenting on the diploma, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, CEO of the Syrian Airlines Group, said: “Ethiopian Aviation University has been the backbone of Syrian Airlines’ success for decades, training the skilled professionals behind the airline’s operations. The Ethiopian Aviation University has expanded its education system to include a variety of higher education programs, including short- and medium-term courses, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
