Employee arrested after shooting at the parking lot

An employee of the hospital in Michigan has been taken in custody after he reportedly admitted a colleague in the parking lot.

RadarOnline.com can reveal the 25-year-old victim, which was shot twice in the arm outside of Corewell Health Beaumont Troy on Thursday morning, is currently being treated in the hospital and is in a stable state.

The police told 7 News Detroit The suspect was arrested in a house in Macomb Township, which is about a 22 -minute drive from Corewell Health Beaumont Troy.

The alleged shooter surrendered to the authorities after they had contacted him by telephone and left his home.

Reports say that civil servants have not yet announced the identity of the suspect or the 25-year-old victim to protect the investigation.

Authorities have confirmed that the male victim is being treated and is in a stable state.

De Schutter, who was an employee at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy, reportedly launched a “targeted attack” on their male colleague this morning.

The shooter shot five shots in the parking lot of the hospital, with some bullets that also struck a nearby vehicle.

The hospital, about 24 miles north of Detroit, was resolved because terrified staff were forced to barricade during the chaos.

Shortly after the shooting took place, Corewell Health issued a statement.

It was: “We work with local law enforcement. An abundance of caution is lined up. A victim is in the Emergency Department for Medical Treatment.

“Patients with planned services should not come to the hospital at the moment. Patients can call the department where they were directly planned for service.

“At the moment there is no other information available.”

The Troy School District has also pronounced and recently confirmed that it keeps a close eye on the situation and that students are reassuring.

A spokesperson said FOX2: “We have taken extra security measures and our team keeps a close eye on the situation with local authorities.

“Schools remain in session and our top priority is the safety and well -being of our students and employees. We will keep you informed if necessary.”

Earlier today, a medical assistant in Michigan told her fear after arriving at work to find an active shot situation that unfolded.

Barbara, the assistant, told Local4 that she was immediately raised by a group of armed officers on her arrival at Corewell Health.

The shooting led to a chaotic lockdown and massive manhunt for the suspect has since arrested.

She said: “I went to the parking lot to get up to walk in and another colleague shouted to get in my car, there was an active shooter.

“I saw police officers in the parking garage with their weapons pulling in a row. I was ready to come in to get in for the day.

“It’s scary. You go to your workplace and think you will be safe.”

Further details about the shooting are expected to be released later today.
