Emma Heming Willis shares emotional post about marriage to Bruce Willis

Emma Heming Willis celebrates 16 years of marriage Bruce Willis And being open about both the good times and the bad.
“Today marks 16 years with the love of your life,” Emma, 46, wrote via Instagram On Friday, March 21, together with a photo of the couple that shares a warm embrace. “We have shared monumental highlights and devastating lows, and through all this we have built something timeless.”
She continued: “I am so deeply grateful for every chapter that I have had with him – and all that we will continue to write, in our language of unconditional love.”
Emma met the famous Die Actor, 70, in 2007 while the couple was training in a mutual trainer. Two years later the couple married Turkish and Caicos before walking through the aisle again six days later in a civil ceremony in Beverly Hills.
In 2012 the couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Mabel. Two years later they welcomed their second daughter, Evelyn. (Willis also shares three daughters, Rumer Willis” Scout Willis And Tallulah Williswith ex-wife Demi Moore.)
In 2022, the Willis family revealed that Bruce had been diagnosed with aphasia and, as a result of his diagnosis, was forced to withdraw from acting. The following year, in 2023, the Fans family gave a further update and shared that he had received a “more specific diagnosis” from Frontotemporal dementia (FTD), for which there are no treatments or known remedy.
“Because we have announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in the spring of 2022, the condition of Bruce is progressing and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTW),” Moore, Emma and their respective daughters wrote in a statement. “Unfortunately, challenges with communication are only one symptom of the disease that Bruce is confronted with. Although this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
In 2023, in honor of her husband’s 68th birthday, Emma described Bruce as ‘pure love’.
“He is pure love. He is so loved. And I will always love him. Happy birthday my love,” she wrote at the time via Instagram. “My birthday wish for Bruce is that you will keep him in your prayers and highest vibrations because his sensitive fish will feel it. Thank you very much for loving and taking care of him too.”
At that time she opened through her Instagram story that she was crying the morning as a result of the diagnosis of her husband and the continuous health struggle.
“Sometimes in our lives we have to turn on our big girl panties and go up, and that’s what I do,” she explained. “But every day I am sad every day, and I really feel it on his birthday today.”
