Emerging Travel Group strengthens its global offering through a new partnership with Meliá Hotels | News

Emerging Travel Group (ETG), a global travel company operating the RateHawk, ZenHotels and Roundtrip brands, announces a new direct integration with Meliá Hotels International, one of the largest hotel groups in Europe. This agreement marks an important step in ETG’s global expansion strategy and strengthens its ability to offer professional partners a broader, more diverse and competitive portfolio.

Through this partnership, ETG adds more than 400 Meliá hotels in 40 countries, including strategic destinations such as Spain, Italy, France, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Vietnam and the Dominican Republic. Emerging Travel Group integrates Meliá’s nine brands: Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts, ME by Meliá, The Meliá Collection, Paradisus by Meliá, Meliá Hotels & Resorts, ZEL, INNSiDE by Meliá, Sol by Meliá and Affiliated by Meliá.

The agreement strengthens Meliá’s global distribution power by providing direct access to ETG’s RateHawk platform, a network of nearly 120,000 B2B travel professionals, including retail agents, tour operators and API partners, in 190 markets. The integration, now delivered via Meliá’s direct API, delivers real-time availability and rates, faster and more reliable booking flows, flexible payment methods, marketing tools and enhanced support.

“For Meliá Hotels International, this partnership with Emerging Travel Group is an important step in our strategy to strengthen global distribution through high-performing technology partners. The direct connection will allow us to offer thousands of travel professionals faster and more competitive access to our brands, strengthening our presence in key markets,” said Natalia Paszkowska, Senior Account Manager, Global Account Lead for ETG at Meliá Hotels International.
“The direct integration of Meliá’s diverse portfolio expands the range of top-quality lodging options available to our B2B partners worldwide. For agents serving high-end travelers seeking premium stays, higher service standards and distinctive experiences, access to such offerings is essential. Direct connectivity to Meliá’s hotel portfolio enables travel agents to better meet these expectations, while also driving strong demand from affluent travelers,” said Victoria Shamshurova, Managing Director of Wholesaler Business Unit at Wholesaler Business Unit Emerging Travel Group.
