Elton John reportedly pissing into a bottle in a shoe store inspires copycats

Elton John supposedly relieving himself in a shoe store has had unintended consequences for those running the joint…let’s just say they’ve been seeing a lot of yellow around the building lately.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … the Elton story that allegedly leaked into the shoe store a few weeks ago has unfortunately inspired copycats … all of whom seem to be taking EJ’s cues — either as a joke on the store, or just to be dicks.

Among some of the follow-up urine incidents that reportedly occurred… one person urinated into a bottle in the store – just as Elton himself is said to have done – while another suffered a spill on the store’s sidewalk, prompting our sources saying the owner is certain it was a streaming tribute to EJ.

Needless to say… we’re told the boss is frustrated with the antics because not only is it rude and impolite — but these clowns are actually hurting the business… and our sources say the owner is hoping this idiot will stop soon.

As we reported… the story goes that the rock legend couldn’t hold out while shopping for sneakers at Sugarkikz in Nice earlier this month… and ended up piss in a plastic bottle in the middle of a store…at least that’s what the guy running the store says.

The alleged Elton bottle situation was caught on video surveillance, btw… but we’re told the footage will never see the light of day.
