Duck Dynasty’s Jessica Robertson reacts to daughter Priscilla’s baby news
Duck Dynasty star Jessica Robertson responded to her daughter on social media Priscilla19, welcomed her first child.
In her Instagram Stories on Thursday, October 9, Jessica shared how happy she was with the new arrival.
“We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our granddaughter, August Mae Nash,” Jessica, 44, wrote, sharing a photo of the newborn’s hand.
Jessica sent good wishes to Priscilla and her friend, Dillion Nashas they began their parenthood journey.
“Congratulations to Priscilla and Dillon on the arrival of one of God’s greatest blessings,” Jessica continued. “We are all head over heels in love with this sweet angel baby.”
A day earlier, the young couple announced that Priscilla had given birth to their first child on Monday, October 6.
“On October 6, I was blessed with the responsibility and title of becoming a father,” Nash wrote via Instagram on Wednesday. “I’m so blessed to be able to care for this beautiful little girl and do it with the love of my life @priscillajunerobertson. We are so proud to welcome August Mae Nash to the world ❤️❤️.”

In July, Jessica shared via Instagram that her then 18-year-old daughter Priscilla was pregnant.
“Me & Jep [Robertson] We are excited to welcome another grandbaby in October,” Jessica wrote via Instagram on July 20, alongside photos of Priscilla holding her baby bump. “Priscilla will be giving birth to our granddaughter and we are blessed to have another grandbaby.”
Jessica, who also shares children Lily22, Merritt, River, 16, 20, and Gus, 9, and Jep, 47, admitted Priscilla’s pregnancy was not in “the plans” they had “made” for her.
“But God takes our meager sacrifices and turns them into His greatest blessings!” she wrote. “We are so proud that Priscilla and Dillon chose life for their baby and we will all be rewarded with this precious girl! We pray blessings for her pregnancy and ask God for a safe delivery for mother and baby. We praise God for His perfect gifts! 💛Pray for us! 3 babies under 1!”
In August, Priscilla briefly addressed the fact that she became pregnant at a young age in an Instagram post accompanied by hashtags.
“Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl 💕 now they’re about to love someone even more 🩷🩵#teenmom #1sttimemom #boyorgirl @dillonnnash,” she wrote.
Thanks to A&E, the Robertson family has become a household name, and they have remained in the minds of fans since the series ended. During her pregnancy, Priscilla posted several photos of her growing baby bump, sharing her excitement about her pregnancy journey.
“So I’m 34 weeks today… @dillonnnash and I are entering our nesting phase and have been happily preparing to meet our baby girl!! #thirdtrimester #girlmom,” she posted in early September.
In late September, she and Nash hosted a baby shower, and Priscilla posted about the event via Instagram.
“@dillonnnash and I had an amazing night celebrating our little girl on the road with his family!” she captioned a carousel of photos taken at the baby shower. “We are so grateful for the love and support we have received over the past few months! and I am so grateful to be part of a family like his! #babyshower.”
Priscilla’s parents rose to fame on the reality series Duck Dynasty, which ran from 2012 to 2017. Jessica and Jep, the son of Phil Robertson and Kay Robertson, married in 2001 and had their own show, Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty, which aired from 2016 to 2017.
