Donald Trump sends army to wipe out 20 million illegal immigrants
Tom Homan, former head of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during Trump’s first term, claimed that no undocumented migrant would be exempt from possible deportation.
He outlined a focus on deporting the “worst of the worst” offenders and tightening border security through measures such as closing the U.S. southern border, building walls and restarting the “Remain in Mexico” program .
Homan said: ‘People say: it sounds terribly cruel, you want to remove millions.
“Let me say this. You have a historic illegal immigration crisis with numbers that we’ve never seen before, in the millions and millions of illegal aliens that have been released into this country (and) we know that the vast majority are not going to get asylum, so they don’t qualify. “
The former head of ICE proposed deploying the U.S. military to help with transportation, infrastructure building and facilitating deportations. While the military would not have arrest powers, they could help with holding facilities and logistics to support the rising number of deportees.
