Donald Trump ‘safe after shots were fired in his area’

Trump narrowly survived being shot by Thomas Matthew Crooks on July 13 while speaking at an outdoor rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Crooks ultimately killed one spectator and seriously injured two others before he was subsequently shot and killed by the United States Secret Service’s Counter Sniper Team.

Trump was escorted out of the room with an injury to his ear and blood spraying down his face. Before the ex-president was removed from the stage, he raised his fist and shouted “FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT” to his supporters.

Despite being flagged as a suspicious person upon entering the meeting, the 20-year-old managed to scale a nearby building and fire an AR-15-style rifle without security catching him.
