Don Lemon Increases Rivalry With Megyn Kelly With ‘Journalist’ Put-Down

While chatting with his younger cohosts on his Clip farmers podcast in October 2025, Lemon bizarrely claimed that Kelly looked “trans.”

When co-host John Cotter claimed that Kelly “looks like a Barbie doll covered in WD40,” Lemon blurted out, “I think she looks trans.”

Cotter gasped and tried to end the argument, but Lemon continued.

“She looks, as they say, clockable,” the former journalist added, telling his co-hosts to “Google it.”

“It’s like a transgender being clockable,” Lemon continued about the lingo.

The openly gay journalist was later branded a “hypocritic” on social media for apparently using the term in a transphobic putdown.

“Don Lemon says Megyn Kelly ‘isn’t hot and looks transsexual,’” an X user said at the time. “Are liberals now using ‘trans’ as an insult…!?”
