Nick Pope, a former Department of Defense UFO expert, said the 47th president could give consipracists “hope” with plans to “make revelations” about other creatures.
He said: ‘It’s the perfect storm: an idiosyncratic, populist president in his second term, and – therefore – not eligible for re-election.

“For those in the UFO community who believe there has been a decades-long conspiracy to cover up the truth about an extraterrestrial presence, Trump in his second term offers the best hope yet to push back against the Deep State and bring about disclosure .”
Trump previously pledged to reveal top-secret UFO footage if he is re-elected, pledging to push the Pentagon to declassify the videos and release them to the public.

Pope himself hopes the test will happen sooner rather than later.
He said: “I believe Trump views the subject the same way he views the JFK files, where if top secret information is still being withheld, it should be released.

“Since he appears to be linking the two issues, there is a strong possibility that bomb UFO information will be released in early 2025, shortly after his inauguration.”
During his first presidency, Trump released documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, promising to reveal the rest if he were re-elected.

Appearing on a podcast in September, Trump said he would pressure Pentagon officials to release videos of alleged UFO sightings.
Host Lex Fridman asked, “Will you push the Pentagon to release more footage that many people claim is available?”
Trump responded: “Oh yeah, sure, I will. I would do that. I would like to do that. I have to do that.”

His interview with Fridman wasn’t the first time Trump has teased top-secret information about UFOs and “life on other planets.”
He previously claimed he had heard “interesting things” about aliens, while suggesting he would release files related to the Roswell UFO, which is considered one of the most infamous unexplained incidents in American history – and led to that Roswell, New Mexico, has become a mecca. for UFO enthusiasts.

Trump’s promise to release files on UFOs comes after whistleblower David Charles Grusch, a former intelligence officer, came forward in 2023 claiming that the US government was working with aerospace companies on a top-secret UFO retrieval program.
Grusch eventually testified before Congress, where he claimed that the program involved the recovery of “non-human spacecraft” and their deceased pilots.

Last month Trump appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast shortly before Election Day, where the topic came up during the three-hour break.
Trump revealed that he had spoken to pilots who claimed to have seen strange objects in the sky after Rogan asked if he had received information about alien life during his presidency.

He said, “There’s a lot of interest in the people coming from space, you know,” to which Rogan asked, “How much have they told you about that?”
Trump responded: “A lot.”

He added: “I have to be honest, I have never been a believer… [But] I interviewed fighter pilots who were solid people, perfect. I mean, great pilots, great everything. And they said we saw things, sir, that were very strange, like a round ball.
“But it wasn’t a comet or a meteor, it was something, and it was going four times faster than an F-22, which is a very fast plane.”

After Rogan asked Trump about his opinion on aliens, the president-elect responded, “There’s no reason not to think that Mars and all these planets don’t have life,” which was met with Rogan’s rebuttal that the U.S. has rovers on the planet would have. decades and no evidence of life has been found.
Trump argued back: “Maybe it’s the life we don’t know, but maybe it’s a different kind of life.”

Last year, Republican senators called on Pentagon officials to take alleged UFO sightings seriously, prompting an investigation by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
Earlier this year, the Pentagon published a 63-page report declaring that there was no evidence of aliens or alien technology on Earth.
The report also found no reason to believe that the US government is withholding information about aliens.
