Disney in secret conversations to breathe new life into Jimmy Kimmel’s Late-Night Show

Jimmy Kimmels Late-Night Future remains uncertain if Disney, the parent company of ABC, is reportedly working behind the scenes to negotiate the return of Jimmy Kimmel Live! After the indefinite suspension of the show, RadarOnline.com can report.

The move came after the host had delivered a fiery monologue about conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Monday 15 September, which led to the recoil of large temporary employment agencies and regulators.

Three insiders revealed that discussions are underway to find compromises that would bring Kimmel back into the air. Sinclair Broadcast Group, which, however, owns numerous ABC affiliatedPreviously required that the comedian apologizes and makes a donation to Turning Point USA, the organization of Kirk.

Nexstar, another powerful station owner, also joined the printing campaign and announced that it would drop the program after comments from the Federal Communications Commission chairman Brendan Carr.

“We can do this in the easy way or in the hard way,” Carr said during a podcast interview after Kimmel’s comments. “These companies can find ways to change behavior and take actions on Kimmel, or there will be extra work for the FCC in front.”

Disney replied by announcing that Jimmy Kimmel Live! would be suspended for an indefinite period of time, a decision that has lit the widespread debate about free speech. Although Kimmel has not yet publicly spoken about the controversy, Insiders told the points of sale that it remains unclear whether he will meet the requirements of Sinclair or Steadstorm.

The situation has endangered the existence of Kimmel’s staff – around 200 people.

Sources told CNN that employees would be paid next week, but their long -term status remains uncertain. A Disney source expressed optimism that a resolution could soon be achieved: “Everyone appreciates him deeply and wants him to come back. But he must fall the temperature.”

Complicating the issue is the fear that Disney could have a ‘real, serious threat’ to lose temporary employment permits if the impasse continues, according to an insider.

As an addition to the tension, reports indicate that Kimmel had drawn up a different pointed monologue for Wednesday’s show, this time aimed at Fox News and Maga supporters. Managers at ABC and Disney reportedly asked him to mitigate the comments, but he refused, who led directly to the suspension.

The controversy started when Kimmel opened his Monday show with comments about the murder of Kirk and focused on the political consequences.

“The Maga gang tries desperately to characterize this boy that Charlie Kirk killed as something other than one of them and everything they can do to score political points,” said Kimmel. “Want to point between the finger.”

Kimmel also mocked Donald Trump’s reaction when he was asked about the death of Kirk. After Trump said, “I think very well”, before I point to the construction in the ballroom of the White House, Kimmel joked: “He is in the fourth phase of sorrow: construction. This is not how an adult mourn the murder of someone he calls a friend. This is how a four -year -old mourns a goldfish.”

Two days after Kimmel’s comments, Carr issued his warning and Disney suspended the show.
