Disney Branded TV, Nat Geo Marketing Chief Pam Levine Exits

Disney Branded Television and National Geographic Head of Marketing Pam Levine leaves its role at the company while restructuring to relocate its responsibilities under Disney Entertainment Television President of Marketing Shannon Ryan’s Team.
Levine reported directly to Ryan. Her remarkable campaigns were “Percy Jackson & The Olympians” by Disney Branded Television and the “Descendants” franchise, together with “Sugarcane” from National Geographic and “David Blaine: don’t try.”
Ryan informed the staff of Levine’s departure on Friday and revealed that Levine’s previous supervision will be divided over Ryan’s best lieutenants, including Erin Weir, who will add television marketing from Disney brand (Weir is currently supervising marketing for ABC Entertainment, Disney marketios; Joe Ortiz, who takes National Geographic Marketing (he supervises Onyx Collective and Freeform); and Candice Ashton, who adds National Geographic and Disney Branded Television Publicity teams to its list, which already contains publicity for ABC Entertainment, Hulu, Disney Television Studios, Freeform and Onyx Collective.
Aaron Goldman has already supervised marketing creative and operations for ABC Entertainment, Disney Branded Television, Freeform, Hulu, Onyx Collective and National Geographic.
A former 20th Century Fox and HBO Marketing Exec, Levine came in June 2022 at Disney as head of marketing for television of Disney Branded and National Geographic Content. When she was appointed, she replaced Jayanta Jenkins, who himself had left after just a short term of office in the role.
Levine’s Exit and the subsequent restructuring under Ryan’s Group marks the newest recasting at Disney’s TV Arm, which has been constantly shaken and has introduced dismissals around his leadership in recent years.
