Judge Arun Subramanian denied the bail of Combs.

In his statement, Subramanian said that the circumstances of Combs did not justify the exceptions set out in the Bail Reform Act.

According to the Bail Reform Act, a defendant must prove that he is not an escape risk or a danger to the community in their release.
