Delonte West arrested after being found unconscious

Delonte West found himself back in prison in Virginia – this time for a scary situation.

The former NBA star was taken into custody on Nov. 3 after Fairfax County police received a call for assistance regarding a man who was found unconscious and not breathing, the department said.

Officers arrived at the scene in ambulances on a portion of Fair Haven Avenue and Richmond Highway and found him breathing. Police tell us they offered to take West to a hospital, but he refused.

He was so drunk that he was arrested for his own safety, they added.

West has since been ruled out and it is unclear if charges will be filed against him at this time.

His latest arrest comes almost exactly a year after the same police station arrested him for trespassing. We told you all about it: he had returned to a place where he had been exiled on November 1, 2024, and the police had enough evidence to issue a warrant for his arrest.
