Earlier this month a source told exclusively US Weekly That David “really wants the knighthood.”
“He is very patriotic and loves his country,” the source explained. “It’s in its grip.”
The insider added: “Beckham did so much charity work with Charles and they are very close. Charles even gave Beckham a birthday gift for David’s 50th [birthday]. “
Indeed, the bond between David and Charles, 76, could be seen on the Chelsea Flower Show of the Royal Horticultural Society on Monday 19 May, where the King David could see if he had received his gift.
While David celebrated his 50th birthday last month with a lush party in London, the Soiree was also a turning point in the current feud that his family flooded.
David and Victoria’s son, Brooklynand his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckhamwere noticeably absent with the party. (David and Victoria share 4 children: sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo22, and Cruz20 and daughter Harper13.)
Several sources have only told Us That the decision of the couple not to attend the party was rooted in two things: Brooklyn’s tension with his brother Romeo and Nicola’s “Bad Blood” with Victoria.
Last week a source told us exclusively that Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, since the party are not in contact with the family.
“There has been no solution from both sides,” said the source, and noted that David and Victoria, 51, did not try to make contact.
Brooklyn recently made a “fast” journey from his house in Los Angeles to London, where his family lives, but he did not reach “because things are tense and he didn’t think it would be a productive conversation.”
Despite the current state of affairs, a separate source told us that David and Victoria, 51, still keep hope ahead.
“Friends and people around them see a long way to restore this,” the insider explained. “But there is a desire to recover from David and Victoria.”
