Darren Criss and Mia Criss: From dating to marriage and children
Darren Criss’ woman, Mia CrissIs on his side long before his rise to fame.
Darren met Mia through mutual friends in 2006, but they only started dating around July 2010 – a few months before he first appeared Joy. (Darren played from 2010 to 2015 as Blaine Anderson on the Fox series.)
“I didn’t know I would be on TV when we started dating,” said Darren in an interview in 2013 with Kiss 92.5.
After seven years of dating, Darren introduced Mia to Mia in January 2018. The pair went the decision in February 2019.
“This feels good. Married. The idea of marriage was not something I put on earlier in life,” he told People In April 2020. “It is almost painful cliché, but boys are getting slower. Girls are just growing up faster. This is science. I am absolutely no exception. I will say this: I dragged my feet together. But we had been together for a long time.
After their marriage, the few daughter, Bluesy Belle, welcomed in April 2022 and son Broer László in June 2024.

In January Darren and Mia announced their engagement after seven years of dating.
“Mia and I had fun for seven and a half years, crazy, beautiful, crazy adventures together,” he wrote via Instagram Next to a photo of the couple. “And I am happy to announce that we make those adventures a notch. We go for it. To go into courageous where none of us has been earlier.”
In the same year, the dwarf papegal went together and opened a showmunes piano bar in Hollywood called Tramp Stamp Stamp Granny’s.

US Weekly confirmed that Darren and Mia made the knot in New Orleans.
“That was one of the most incredible events in my entire life,” Darren said later People in April 2020. “The most magical experience. Say what you want about the construction of marriage and tradition: weddings are great.”

Darren opened about how Mia always supported him during his career.
“We have been the ultimate plus-ons for each other for 10 years,” he shared with People. “My dreams and ambition have always been the driving force in my life. It was the gas in my tank. It almost used me. Some people were able to do that, but Mia never was. I am so grateful for her – every day.”
