D’Arcy Carden joins ‘The Five-Star Weekend’ at Peacock

D’Arcy Carden is cast in ‘The Five-Star Weekend’, an upcoming Peacock drama, as a series regularly.

She plays Brooke Kirtley and joins previously announced cast members Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny and Gemma Chan.

The official description for the series reads: “Hollis Shaw (Garner), a famous food influences known for its delicious recipes, flawless taste and warm attitude, suffers a devastating loss. Not able to go further, death begins to expose the cracks in the framework of Hollis in a Picture Perfect Live-Haar Complicated Haar Haar-Haar Complicated Haar Haar-Haar. Weekend away in her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her 20s, 30s and a surprising fifth star.

Carden is best known for the leading role as Janet in “The Good Place”, who ran four seasons on NBC from 2016 to 2020. She also played Natalie Greer in “Barry” from 2018 to 2023, and Greta Gill in 2022’s “A League of Own”, and returned to “Broad City”.

“The Five-Star Weekend” was made by Bekah Brunstetter, who writes the series next to and Beth Schapter. Both serve as executive producers in addition to Sue Naegle and Ali Krug for productions for dinner; Elin Hilderbrand; and Jennifer Garner. Universal Content Productions is the studio.
