Danielle Peazer reveals the last message she received from Liam Payne

Danielle Peazer has revealed details of the last message she received Liam Payne just “a few weeks” before his sudden death at the age of 31.

Peazer, 36, who dated Payne for more than two years after meeting him on set The X Factor Britain in 2010 he shared details of the message via Instagram on Sunday, October 20.

“Receiving a message from you a few weeks ago expressing your happiness at the love I found with Sonny and Mia is something I will cherish forever,” said Peazer, who welcomed her first child, daughter Mia, with her radio DJ partner Son Jaywrote an online tribute to the late musician in May.

Peazer also noted in the post that she is committed to supporting Payne’s family, including son Bear, 7, whom the One Direction star shared with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Colein the aftermath of Payne’s death. We weekly confirmed on Wednesday, October 16, that Payne died that day after falling from a third-floor balcony in Argentina.

“His most important role and something he was most proud of of all his monumental achievements was being a father,” Peazer wrote, along with a black-and-white photo of the former couple posing with ice cream cones. “The thought that there is now a child growing up without either parent is heartbreaking and unfair. To Liam’s son Bear, as well as his parents and sisters, my love, thoughts and strength go to you. The magnitude of this loss is incomprehensible and I will continue to support you in whatever way I can.”

Peazer also noted that although the couple’s romance ended in 2013, the breakup marked “just the beginning of our journey.”

“The things we witnessed and experienced from that point until last year may be described as unique to some and misunderstood by others,” Peazer wrote in the post. “But I think deep down we always knew that no matter where our individual lives took us, we would always have some kind of connection.”

Peazer stayed by Payne’s side as One Direction finished in third place on the competition show, just as their fame spread around the world. Peazer acknowledged Payne’s success, and the international fame it attracted, in her Instagram port.

“It took you a little longer to figure out who you wanted to be in order to be your happiest, but while most of us spend our teens and twenties learning about ourselves, you spent those years giving more to the world than you was ever necessary,” she wrote. “I wish you knew that you are always more than enough for this world, without having to look for a role to please others.”

A preliminary autopsy report viewed by Us revealed that Payne died of “multiple injuries involving “internal and external bleeding,” and that he was in a “state of semi- or total unconsciousness” at the time of the fall.

After news of the tragedy broke, Peazer shared her first shock via Instagram Stories on Saturday, October 19. ‘Over the past few days I have been trying to come to terms with the news of Liam’s death. Thank you to everyone who took the time to call, text or DM to send condolences and offer support,” Peazer wrote at the time.

After Payne and Peazer split, Payne moved on to people like Sophia SmithCole, 41, Maya Hendrik And Aliana Mawla. Payne was in a relationship with a model Kate Cassidy at the time of his death.

Payne is survived by parents Geoff and Karen, older sisters Nicola and Ruth, and Bear.
