Dancing with the Stars 20th Birthday Party Recap: Who Went Home?

Dancing with the stars broke out the balloons, streamers and much fanfare to celebrate the ballroom competition’s 20th anniversary.
To kick off Tuesday, November 11, episode, judge (and former pro) Derek Hough choreographed a stunning routine with the original six DWTS dancers from season 1 of 2005: Alec Mazo, Ashly DelGrosso, Jonathan Roberts, Charlotte Jorgensen, Edyta Śliwińska And Louis van Amstel.
The quarterfinalists then each performed a new routine inspired by a previous one DWTS freestyle champion. Robert Irwinfor his part, had everyone in tears as he honored his sister Bindi Irwin‘s season 21 dedication to their late father, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
“Tonight for me was about the legacy of conservation that I represent,” Robert said emotionally just before earning his first perfect score of the season. “Every time I step on that floor, I represent my father, his message and what he stood for. I just want to make him proud. He is my hero.”
After the first round of competition, the stars (except for Whitney Leavittwho earned immunity last week) traded their professional partners for a former mirrorball winner in the relay dances. Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron and Robert emerged victorious respectively.
Despite the exemplary routines, Andy Richter And Emma Slater were eventually eliminated just before the semi-finals.
Dancing with the stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8pm ET. Scroll down to see each couple’s scores from the 20th birthday party:
