CW, PAC-12 Extend the Rights Agreement until the 2030-31 season

The CW network of Nexstar and the PAC-12 conference continue their cooperation as some of the teams associated with the group are no longer present

The broadcast network and the Collegiate-Sports League have extended their current rights agreement to the 2030-31 season. According to the Pact, the CW will be broadcast 13 football matches for regular season next year, during the 2026-27 season, together with regular season broadcasts of 35 basketball games for men and 15 basketball games for women. CW will also walk the semi-final and champion matches for the new PAC-12 Ladies Basketball Tournament. PAC-12 Enterprises, the broadcast production arm of the conference, will produce all basketball matches for football, men and women, a total of 66 events.

The original PAC-12 fell apart last year when USC and UCLA, and then others, are out of their way to other groups. The maneuvers left the state of Oregon and the state of Washington as the only members of the group. The new group, which will be launched in 2026, will also contain Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Utah State. Gonzaga will participate in sport that is not bound by football and Texas State will serve as a joins as the eighth football member. PAC-12 has already concluded a deal with CBS Sports to show some of his games.

“The PAC-122 has been an important partner in the success of CW Sports, and we are pleased to strengthen our relationship with the conference for another five years,” said Brad Schwartz, president of the CW Network, in a statement. “We have experienced the passion of the Oregon State and the Washington State football programs and their dedicated fans from first-hand and we would like to introduce an extra schools in the new PAC-12 with our rural CW sports program. We are also enthusiastic to bring PAC-12 men’s and women’s baskets to our viewers in the land.”

PAC-12 has been on CW since the 2024 football season and will be broadcast by the network in 2025. The most viewed university football match of the year was the matchup between Washington State and Oregon State in Corvallis.

“The partnership of the PAC-12 with the CW has been one of mutual growth and transformation, of the development of the broadcast production company of our PAC-12 companies to the significant added value and positive impact for our current and future members via real national reach about 100% of the American television household, the PAC-E2-commissionary, said Teresa Goulde Goulde Goulder.
