‘Crimental’ season 3 Castt Jeff Daniels

Jeff Daniels has joined the cast of “Krimpen” at Apple TV+, Variety has learned.
The actor will appear in the coming third season of the series, which was originally announced in October 2024. Daniels will appear in a guest star role as father of Jimmy (Jason Segel). Together with Segel, the cast of the acclaimed Dramedy also includes Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, Christa Miller and Ted McGinley.
This will be the latest TV role for Daniels in recent years. Earlier he played in the adaptation of the Showtime (and later Amazon Prime Video) series of “American Rust”, as well as the limited series “The Comey Rule” of the Premium Cabler. He also played in shows such as “A Man in Full”, “The Newsroom” (for which he won an Emmy in 2013), “Godless” (for which he won an Emmy in 2018) and “The Drequing Tower.” Daniels is a very advanced film actor, with in the lead role occasions such as ‘The Squid and the Whale’, ‘The Purple Rose of Cairo’, ‘Pleasantville’, ‘Good Night and Good Luck’ and the two ‘Dumb & Dumb’ films.

The “Krimpen” season 2 was launched in October and was closed in December. Both Segel and Williams have received Emmy Award nominations for the first season of the show.
The show was co -created by Segel, Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein. It is produced by Warner Bros. Television, where Lawrence and Goldstein are under general deals, and Lawrence’s dooster Productions. Lawrence, Segel, Goldstein, Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Randall Winston, Annie Mebane, Rachna Fruchbom and Brian Gallivan all serve as executive producers. Ashley Nicole Black and Bill Posley will serve as executive producers in the third season.
