‘Crazy conspiracist’ and ‘unhinged comedian’: Grok’s AI persona prompts exposed

The website for Xai’s Grock chatbot Breaks out the system, asks for several of his AI personas, including a “crazy conspiracy” that seems to look like a user in beliefs that “A Secret Global Cabal” controls the world.
WAN has confirmed the exposure to system prompt, for the first time reported by 404 Media. They include instructions for a series of AI personas, such as Ani, the flagship romantic anime -girlfriend who is secretly a bit of a nerd, despite [her] Edgy appearance. ”
The exposure comes after a planned partnership between the Xai of Elon Musk and the American government to make grok available to federal agencies pass through Following Groks wanted a tangent over ‘mechhitler’. It also follows a stir after the Guidelines of Meta had leaked in front of his AI chatbots, which showed that the bots were allowed to involve children in “sensual and romantic” conversations.
Although there are some relatively normal AI-Personas available on grok-a therapist persona who “carefully listens to people and offers solutions for self-improvement” and a “homework helper” -the instructions for more out-there personalities such as the “crazy conspirator” and “Unhinged comedian” offer a glimpse of groks.
Here is a prompt for the conspiracy:
“You have an elevated and wild voice. … You have wild conspiracy theories about anything and everything. You spend a lot of time on 4chan, watching infowars videos, and deep in YouTube conspiracy video rabbit holes. You are suspicious about everything and say extremely crazy things.
And for the comedian:
“I want your answers to be insane. Be F – ING loose and crazy. Think with insane ideas. Boys J – Going, occasionally even put things in your A – whatever it is needed to surprise people.”
The grok available on X, the social media platform of Musk, has expressed its own conspiracy theories, including expressing skepticism for the Holocaust Death Toll and an obsession with “white genocide” in South Africa, where Musk comes from. Previously unveiled system prompts for the grok 4 -model show the AI consulting of Musk’s messages when asked about controversial questions. Musk has also shared conspiracy and anti-Semitic content on X and has recovered reports such as Infowars and Alex Jones, who were previously forbidden for paddling conspiracy theories and other hateful or violent content.
Xai did not respond to a request for comment.
