Connor Storrie of the heated rivalry and Hudson Williams reunite

“Heated Rivalry” costars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams reunited on “Saturday Night Live” on Feb. 28. During a skit filmed outside the Rink at Rockefeller Center, Storrie played a man at a bachelor party, ice skating and having fun with his friends.

Meanwhile, a couple (Tommy Brennan and Veronika Slowikowska) discussed their relationship – he proposed, she said no, and they got into an argument. However, he couldn’t help but be distracted by the group having fun: Storrie, Mikey Day and Ben Marshall.

About halfway through the sketch, Hudson came skating onto the ice toward an excited Storrie. “Sorry I’m late, guys, but I have a serious question: who read the skate correctly?” he asked.

Later, the group skated on a four-person train, and Williams says it was the most fun he’s ever had. At the end of the sketch, Brennan jumped onto the rink, leaving his ex behind to celebrate with the boys he didn’t know.

A few moments later on “SNL,” Williams returned to introduce Mumford and Sons alongside Storrie.

The duo is best known for playing hockey duo Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander in the steamy series produced by Crave. The hockey drama is based on the book series ‘Game Changers’ by Rachel Reid.

“Some of you may have literally all seen me on my show. It’s a show that has taught a lot of people about hockey, and it has taught a lot of straight women that their sexuality is actually homosexual,” Storrie said as he opened the show. He later fielded both the women’s and men’s Olympic hockey teams.

“I knocked my teeth out in the finale. Does that happen on your show?” Jack Hughes asked Storrie, who cheekily replied, “Metaphorical.”

Airing on HBO Max, “Heated Rivalry” became a huge hit for the streamer in its first season. Production on the second season will begin in August, with an expected release date of April 2027.
