‘Clash of Clans’ Animation series Ordered from Netflix

An animation series “Clash of Clans” is green enlightened at Netflix, Variety has learned.

Fletcher Moules will serve as a Showrunner, with Ron Weiner (“Arrested Development”, “Futurama”) who serves as the main writer. Moules previously worked with Supercell on animated videos “Clash of Clans” for YouTube, who have collected hundreds of millions of views. Icon Creative Studio will lead animation in the Netflix series.

The mobile game “Clash of Clans” was originally launched in 2012, while “Clash Royale” debuted in 2016. Since then, the two races of his hugely popular have remained. They have been downloaded more than four billion times with 180 billion hours of gameplay.

This is the newest order of the animation series for Netflix in recent weeks. The streamer previously announced the animated comedy ‘mating season’ to the adults. That show comes from the same team behind ‘Big Mouth’, where the last series prepares its eighth and last season.

Other Netflix-Animated shows in the work are “Long Story Short” from “Bojack Horseman” Maker Raphael Bob-Waksberg and others from the “Bojack” team. “Long Story Short” recently set up his main cast, including Abbi Jacobson, Max Greenfield and Nicole Byer. The show is falling on Netflix on August 22.
