‘Christmas in Nashville’ NBC Special Sets Lineup, host Trisha Yearwood

“Christmas in Nashville,” a country music holiday special airing on NBC, has unveiled its lineup and host, three-time Grammy winner Trisha Yearwood.

The two-hour broadcast, which airs December 3 at 10 p.m., will feature performances of holiday classics from Bill Murray & His Blood Brothers, Lauren Alaina, Ne-Yo, the War and Treaty and Trace Adkins. It will be available to stream on Peacock the next day.

The special was filmed in front of a live audience at the Category 10 venue in Nashville. It is executive produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment.

“Christmas in Nashville” follows NBC’s annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special, airing Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. ET. Reba McEntire will host and perform during the two-hour holiday special, along with Marc Anthony, Halle Bailey, Michael Bublé, Kristin Chenoweth, Laufey, New Edition, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Radio City Rockettes and Gwen Stefani. It will also feature tree lighting from “Today” anchors Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin and Al Roker.

NBC’s holiday programming also includes the annual “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” “Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular” and “Saturday Night Live” Thanksgiving and Christmas specials. “A Motown Christmas,” airing Dec. 9 at 9 p.m., will be hosted by Smokey Robinson and Halle Bailey and will feature performances from Motown legends and modern music stars.

In December, NBC will also air holiday favorites such as “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” on “Frosty the Snowman” on December 4, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” on December 5, “Shrek the Halls” on December 9 and “It’s a Wonderful Life” on December 24.
