Christina Haack has confirmed that season 2 of “The Flip Off” of HGTV is officially in production. She plays in the series next to her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae.
In a long -awaited one Instagram Update, the 42-year-old revealed that she, Tarek and Heather Rae and her boyfriend, Christopher LaroccaHad ended their first film day for the new season on Monday.
In August it was revealed that the show was renewed for a second season, at a time when HGTV abruptly canceled various programs, including Haack’s Solo show, “Christina on the Coast.”
In her message she recorded a video of the four giggling while they narrowly from the new brand Champagne from Haack, Clé Cachée. The text overlay stated: “Day 1 of filming TFO season 2 but Christina’s champagne was launched today.”
“Filming the first day of season 2 of the flip -off! @Clecache champagne required. Ready or not: here we come!” Haack added the caption.

It is unclear whether the boyfriend of Haack will appear in the series or whether he will only participate in the pleasure of sharing the news.
In the clip, the group went to a scene of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” about “tipsy.
The news of the film status comes after “The Flip Off”, which premiered this year, was a second season Greenlit.
After the premiere in January, the series became the highly appreciated debut show in adult viewers since 2022. Fans were apparently fascinated by the drama that unfolded on the screen as a result of Haack’s separation of her third husband, Josh Hall.
Initially, the show was meant to have Haack and Hall who went against each other in a renovation struggle against the El Moussas, with the first episode with different clips filmed with all four stars.
Haack and Hall, however, split in the summer of 2024, just when the filming had started, and he was immediately left the show. Haack was left to do it alone in the Housing Act.
The early stages of what would be a very bitter separation of Hall then took place during the series, starting with Haack’s trapped admission to Tarek – with whom she was married for nine years – that her relationship was over.
In March, Heather Rae opened himself to Realtor.com about what it was like to see Haack enduring such a painful split, and admitted that both they and Tarek knew “some of the struggles that happened before everything received in public”.
“We knew something was coming, but we didn’t know how fast,” she explained at the time. “We didn’t know when it [was happening, so] We are very much like: ‘oh wow’, but we knew there had been problems. “
Although the test was painful, Heather Rae said that Haack, with whom she formed a “deep” friendship, immediately seemed happier in the aftermath of the split, in which it was explained that the “tension” between the Haack and Hall was clear to everyone.

“You certainly see some tension between them on the camera, and I would say, as, after he had left the show, [Christina] Was much lighter. It seemed like she was happier and it made the show much more fun, “Heather Rae explained.
“While when he was involved, there was much more smack talking, and I know she doesn’t enjoy filming with him.”
In the summer, HGTV fans were worried about the fate of “The Flip Off” after HGTV had added several beloved shows, including “Battle on the Beach”, “Bargain Block”, “Married with real estate”, “Farmhouse fixer” and “Izzy does it.”
In July, sources claimed that both “Christina on the Coast” and “The Flipping El Moussas” were canceled by the network.
According to US WeeklyInsiders claimed that ‘Christina on the Coast’, who ran for five seasons, the last of which was closed in March of this year, ‘was not renewed’. “The Flipping El Moussas” lasted two seasons.
Although the network has not unveiled the reason for the Series of Cancellations, a report from Term Said that the decreasing number of viewers is partly the fault.
The outlet, who spoke with numerous sources producing for the network, said that in 2017 HGTV had around 1.5 million viewers, referring to Nielsen.
Since then, however, the network has difficulty bringing in the audience, with its average viewers at 773,000 last year.
The American television database Does HGTV display as the seventh most popular TV channel, with an average of 628,000 viewers.

According to the report in Deadline, the network has difficulty attracting viewers from 18 to 49 years old, so that 26% of that demography was lost in the past year.
In 2017, viewers from 18 to 49 were on average 425,000, while 2024 saw only 101,000.
The outlet noted that part of the reason for the problems of HGTV is the large budget that is necessary to produce a home renovation show.
The revision reportedly shows more than $ 500,000 per episode.
One source told the outlet: “Home Reno shows are expensive because all materials are raised and, in the event of a delay, the price of wood and marble and everything else goes up, so these shows are no longer logical.”
“Things would not arrive on time; for example, we had wooden floors, which would come within six weeks after we started production, and then we are also dependent on contractors,” said a nameless producer in the renovation shows of the network.

“Everyone knows that if you do the construction of your house, you will never come in with the budget. Try to apply that to a show that really has strict budgets. Some of our episodes took 16 weeks to photograph. It is more labor -intensive than a real estate show.”
Real estate shows reportedly cost around $ 200,000 to $ 300.00 per delivery and take a shorter amount of time to film.
HGTV is also struggling to compete with social media makers who show off their do -self -renovations on TIKTOK, Instagram and YouTube.
