Chrishell Stause unfollows almost every selling Sunset Costar after exit

Chrishel Stause is not just saying goodbye Selling sunset – but also with her former costars.

After Chrishell, 44, announced her departure from the show, eagle-eyed followers noticed her Instagram follower count changing. Chrishell has notably unfollowed most of her cast members from the hit Netflix series – except Chelsea Lazkani. (The season 9 cast included Chrisshell, Chelsea, Nicole Young, Emma Hernan, Bre Tiesi, Sandra Vergara And Maria Bonnet.)

Chrisshell had a difficult final season Selling sunset like them ended with most at odds of the cast.

“I’m at a point where I don’t need the show financially,” Chrishell said Rush in an interview published on Friday, November 7, discussing her decision to leave. “I am fortunate that I have other forms of work because that is no longer good for my mental health.”

The reality star noted that she had no idea if the show would return for more seasons.

“If they continue, I wish them the best. If they do another one, I might not watch it anymore. I don’t know. But I have no ill will towards the show,” she added. “The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it even if I don’t leave in the way I would have liked.”

Chrishell continued, “I think after so many hours I felt like, ‘Just sit here, get through it. You’re not a quitter, but you never have to do this again.'”

The former soap star originally joined the show when it premiered in 2019. She was a constant presence until ongoing feuds with Nicole Young and former friend Emma Hernan made her reconsider her future on the show.

“I felt like I was in a good place with everyone – I felt happy and strong about the real estate aspect,” Chrishell told Variety in October. “This tends to happen on this show. When you think you’re going to have a pretty easy season without a doubt, those are the ones that end up being the hardest.”

Chrishell noted that she had no regrets about her time on Selling Sunset.

“I liked this season. I don’t think I had a hard season. It’s just the way it culminates in the reunion, and how everything turned out,” she continued. “It’s interesting that I went into the season thinking everything would be easy. Never say those famous last words.”

Chrishell also hinted that she had no desire to return.

“The reunion was so brutal. In that moment I realized that I will be done here in the future. I wish everyone the best, but this is not the place for me. It felt a bit like a dog pile,” she added. “I don’t know when they’ll start filming. I hope they never tell me.”

Selling sunset is currently streaming on Netflix.
