Chilean ‘burglary tourists’ invaded us to plunder houses of athletes

Burrow’s home robbery was performed on December 9, 2024. Burrow, 28, was in Arlington, Texas and played the Dallas Cowboys.

Only an hour earlier, the police say, was a Chilean burglary team that called himself Lanzas Internacionales, slipped through a window and straight ahead to the main bedroom.

They left with around $ 300,000 on diamond hangers, gold chains, luxury watches and sunglasses – including the chain of the Quarterback of the diamond ‘JB9’, once proudly worn after Cincinnati’s 2022 AFC North Victory.

These were no ordinary burglars.

Legal enforcement officials classify the suspects as part of a refined network of Chilean ‘burglary tourists’ – young thieves who fly in under the US Visa Waiver schedule, time their robbery of the game schedules of athletes and target vast properties.

Allegedly at the end of 2024 they beat at least six other sports stars, including Milwaukee Bucks Vooruit Bobby Portis Jr., Memphis Grizzlies Point Guard Ja Morant, Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce and Quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
