ChatGPT is testing a mysterious new feature called ‘study together’

The mode is apparently the way the chatbot to become a better educational tool. Instead of giving answers to prompts, some say that it asks more questions and requires people to answer, such as OpenAi’s answer Google’s LearNLM. Some also wonder if it will have a mode in which more than one person can join the chat in a study group mode. OpenAi did not respond to our request for comments, but for what it is worth, Chatgpt told us: “OpenAi did not officially announce when or as a study will be available together for all users – or if the Chatgpt Plus requires.”
The position is interesting because Chatgpt quickly became a mainstay in education in both useful and non-so-help ways. Teachers use it for things like lesson plans; Students can use it as a tutor – or they can use it to write their papers for them. Some even suggested that chatgpt could “kill” Higher education. This can be a way for chatgpt to encourage good use while discouraging “Cheating.”
