Charlie Kirk ignored bodyguard -warning before killing

“It felt,” said a witness, Tyler McGettan, who attended the rally and described the lack of standard security measures.

“I expected to go through a kind of checkpoint, but nothing happened. I just came in.”

Herzog’s security company, The Bodyguard Group of Beverly HillsHad also recommended metal detectors and handheld walls to be used to screen on weapons in the crowd.

But none of these precautions were present.

“We had real worries,” said Herzog’s colleague, Mark Wilson, who was also on the Rally of March.

“We knew he mixed with a few unpredictable characters, and it seemed as if he didn’t take the threat seriously. It is tragic that we are here now, talk about this after what happened.”

Still disturbing, the Kirk’s personal security team has not tackled the worries. Although there were some officers in the citizen in the crowd, only six officers were assigned to secure the event.

University police chief Jeff admitted Long that the security measures of the event were insufficient.

“We have trained for these things. You think you have covered everything, but if something like that happens, you realize that we didn’t do that,” said Long during a press conference.

“Unfortunately we didn’t cover it today, and that’s why we had this tragic incident.”
