During the Eid holidays, visitors to Qasr Al Watan can enjoy a lively atmosphere with traditional Al Ayyala dance performances, starting from 11:30 am, celebrating one of the UAE’s most treasured cultural expressions. The Horse Marshal Show, held daily at 5pm, pays tribute to the UAE’s age-old equestrian traditions, while the Military Music Show, held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 2.30pm, fills the palace courtyard with powerful melodies celebrating unity and national pride.
As night falls, visitors are invited to stay for the spectacular Palace in Motion light and sound show, held daily at 7:10 PM. This breathtaking experience illuminates the grand facade of Qasr Al Watan and tells the inspiring story of the UAE’s past, present and future through a captivating display of light, music and storytelling.
In addition to the special Eid program, visitors can explore the House of Knowledge, where the Golden Ink: A Journey Through Arabic and Islamic Manuscripts exhibition showcases rare manuscripts alongside fascinating examples of calligraphy, illumination and Islamic scholarship. The Qasr Al Watan Library also offers a rich collection documenting the UAE’s political, social and cultural journey, giving visitors a deeper insight into the country’s history and vision for the future.
