Candace Cameron Bure says she ‘fights’ decision to get botox

Candace Cameron Bure Has been on the fence when it comes to getting Botox injections.
“If I’m just completely honest, I fight it because I made three films this year, Back -To -Back,” said Cameron Bure, 49, on the episode of her eponymous episode of her eponymous episode podcast. “I try to find out.”
She continued: ‘I love my social community on Instagram and Tiktok, and I love to talk to [fans] there. I love your messages. People always ask me questions, such as: ‘What is your skin care? Are you doing Botox? ‘I am, like:’ Look at my forehead. No, I don’t do botox [and] I’ve never had a filler in my face. None of that. ” ‘
According to Cameron Bure, she has received “countless comments” from users of social media who praise her decision not to have cosmetic procedures done.
“People say:” Thank you for not having received a botox. Thank you for being a real woman [and] Show me a famous person, or someone on TV, parental with grace, “she remembered. ” Thank you for helping me to feel good in my own skin because you don’t put that in your face. “They let me cry, but they condemn me so much. ‘
Cameron Bure emphasized that she “holds” when getting Botox because of her online supporters.
“I know in my heart that I want to age as nicely as my mother, and I believe I will do that, but the industry I am in makes it so difficult,” the Home Said alum. “It’s just the pressure. It is not even the pressure of people who tell me that I should do it, but I am just visually looking for all the other actresses around my age. [Then, I ask myself,] ‘What age do I play on the camera? How are my leading men older? ” ‘
Cameron Bure further acknowledged that many men ‘become more beautiful’ with age and do not have to deal with unrealistic beauty standards that give priority to young people and demonize aging.
“And then women just look old,” said Cameron Bure. “I have all the feelings about it. I am a bit of a person right now, [where I say] Never say never. I don’t write it in [a] Book because I can’t tell you that I may not have it. From today I don’t have one [and] I don’t get it today, but I am thinking about it. “
The former children’s star noted that ‘the wrinkles through [her] Face ”have increasingly influenced her decision.
“I just made a movie, and there is a flashback scene in it. It should be 15 years ago, so I would be about 30 years old,” Cameron Bure said about one of her upcoming projects. “We have filmed the scene … but then in the post, that means that after we have shot it, we put together the entire film. It goes to VFX [and] It goes to effects. They are going to correct the film [and] Will then change my face digitally so that I look younger. ‘
Cameron Bure Viewed Film Editors use technology to smooth out her pre -cheese wrinkles, adjust her crow’s feet and determine where her cheeks can be ‘a little hugger’.
“The cheeks keep you young,” said Cameron Bure. “So my face is thinner and me,” is there a way to blow up my cheeks a bit for this flashback? “They are from:” Ok, you know it’s all dependent on money.
For the film, which Cameron Bure did not mention, the editors used their budget to concentrate on her forehead, crow feet, smiling lines and neck.
“No matter how much I make jokes about it, this is my reality,” she noticed. “This is my reality of how I have to get older to many people. I know I have chosen this job – and I love this job and want to sit in it – but it is a very different psychological thinking in my brain that I think about.”
