Bryce Harper reportedly threatened by MLB official after Rob Manfred argument, agent claims

Bryce Harper
MLB official allegedly threatened him, agent claims…
‘This is how people end up in a ditch’

Bryce Harper was reportedly threatened by a Major League Baseball official over the summer … according to a major agent claim.
Here’s the deal… Allan Walsh – a super agent who represents National Hockey League players – made the allegations “Agent Provocateur” podcast that he hosts together with the podcaster Adam Wylde.
Agent Provocateur
Walsh mentioned a highly publicized incident over the summer…when baseball insiders claimed MLB commissioner Rob Manfred entered the Philadelphia Phillies locker room and tried to talk to the players about a salary cap.
The Associated press – citing an anonymous source – claimed that Harper verbally abused Manfred… a claim Harper has never denied.
Now Walsh — who is NOT Harper’s agent — says he’s heard there’s more to the story… and claims Harper and several other players spoke with Manfred and others after the incident when an MLB official angrily confronted Harper.
Walsh claims that this official – someone he does not name, although he does say it is not Commissioner Manfred – told Harper never to speak publicly to the commissioner in this manner again.
This person then allegedly said, “That’s how people end up in a ditch” – a pretty big threat against one of the biggest sports stars, if he’s legit.
Worth noting… Walsh was not in the locker room – he added that he has heard this story from people who say they were there. He offers no other tangible evidence to support his claim.
We’ve reached out to Harper and Major League Baseball…so far no word back.
