Bruce Willis’ wife shares heartbreaking message during his health crisis

Emma got candid about the status of Bruce’s health battle during a recent appearance on Tamsen Fadal’s The Tamsen Show podcast.
“We have been with Bruce through every step of his illness and his disease is progressing and deteriorating,” she said. “So it’s not a quick route to, oh my god, he’s not communicating.”
She explained that they can no longer have conversations because it is a “slow burn” and “very painful to watch.”
“We communicate with him in our own special way that works for him, that works for us. It looks different than what would be the norm, but we’re not dealing with anything that’s normal,” she added.
Unfortunately, there is no cure for frontotemporal dementia, and the disease tends to progressively worsen, with patients typically living for eight to ten years after the onset of symptoms.
