Bruce Willis Dementia battle worsens

While it was a refreshing change of pace to see Bruce everywhere, his health reportedly continues to decline, as a family source shared, “He’s going downhill fast.”
Emma appeared on the HealSquad podcast with Maria Menounos this week and talked about the challenges that life as a caregiver can bring.
A neurologist caring for Bruce sat her down and gave her an alarming statistic: About 30 percent of caregivers die before the loved ones they care for. This could possibly be attributed to them not scheduling their own medical appointments, she explained, because they don’t have enough support to care for the person they are caring for.
Stress can also contribute to this, because it can lead to high blood pressure and an increased risk of a heart attack.
“I really needed to hear that to wake up,” Emma said.
“We make appointments for everyone, handle this, do this. We do so much. Healthcare providers need to know that to make it sustainable, you have to take care of yourself, that it is not selfish, it is self-preservation.”
