“The continued gaslighting by the ex-husband is extremely hurtful and tiring,” she said.

“I’ve always begged and screamed to have a life with my boys,” she added, referring to their sons: Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.

Spears then went straight to one of her sons, claiming she had barely seen him in the past five years.

“Unfortunately, they have always witnessed the lack of respect my own father showed for me,” she continued.

“They have to take responsibility for themselves. One has seen me for 45 minutes in the last five years and the other has only seen me four times in the last five years.

“I also have pride. From now on I will let you know when I am available.”
