British Airways to increase flights to rising Cincy in 2026 | News

British Airways is expanding its non-stop service from London Heathrow to Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport to six weekly flights from March 29, 2026, increasing capacity by 55 to 60 percent in response to rising demand. The timing couldn’t be better. Where German heritage meets urban energy and Southern hospitality, the Cincy region is gearing up for a standout year of historic events, culinary innovation and big cultural moments, making 2026 the perfect time to visit.
The improved schedule will increase frequency from five to six flights per week, operating daily except Thursdays from March 29, 2026 through October 2026. The route, which first launched in 2023, remains the only non-stop service to the United Kingdom via Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. The service will also undergo an aircraft upgrade from a Boeing 787 800 to a larger Boeing 777 200, delivering a significant annual capacity increase. The new configuration includes 48 Club World business class suites, 40 World Traveler Plus premium economy seats and 184 World Traveler economy seats, in addition to expanded cargo capacity to support regional business and trade. After three years of strong performance, third-party research shows the expansion will generate millions of dollars in annual economic impact for the Cincinnati region.
