‘Brilliant Minds’ season 2 plays Porsha Williams in Gastster Rol

“Brilliant Minds” has added four host stars for the coming second season at NBC.
Variety Has learned that Porsha Williams (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”, “The Traitors”), Molly Bernard (“Younger”, “Chicago Med”), Connor Tomlinson (“Love on the Spectrum”), and Laura Vanderoort (“Smallville,” Age or Depen.
Williams and Vandervoort both appear in the first episode of season 2, while Bernard comes in for episode Twee and Tomlinson in episode three. Williams plays Bitsy, who is described as “a prosperous housewife of Upper West Side who sees Dr. Carol Pierce (Tamerla Perry) during her private practice. She knows all the gossip about everyone, on every medical administration in New York City.”
Vandervoort plays Cynthia Grudko. The character description is: “It is not easy to be the wife of an MMA hunter and to educate two children. When her husband Tommy starts experiencing strange symptoms, Cynthia fights for his health – even when his coach may not agree.”
Bernard will play Lauren Brooks, said to “a young professional looking for love in her worst nightmare: she has a crisis in the field of mental health while filming a reality dating show … and everyone looks.” Finally, Tomlinson Tom will play, “who lives in a group home and has an affinity with the spygene. He crosses our doctors while investigating a medical mystery.”
Williams is reputed by Karen Kinney Entertainment, UTA, Fox Rothschild LLP and Align Privering Relationships. Bernard is being reputed by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Jill Fritzo Public Relations. Tomlinson is traced back by the shine side. Vandervoort is reserved by the talent agency of the characters.
In addition to colleague season, the host stars appear 2 supplements Bellamy Young and Al Calderon. Returning cast members are Zachary Quinto, Perry, Ashleigh Lathrop, Alex Macnicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears and Donna Murphy.
“Brilliant spirits” is inspired by the life and work of author and doctor Oliver Sacks. According to the official logline, the show follows “A revolutionary, more than life-sized neurologist (Quinto) and his team of interns while they explore the last large border-the human spirit while they struggle with their own relationships and mental health.”
Michael Grassi serves as a maker, writer and executive producer. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, Demane Davis, Melissa Aouate, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis and Shefali Malhouttrra also executive products. Berlanti Productions, Fabel Entertainment, The Imaginarium, Grassi Productions and Tavala produce in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.
“Brilliant Minds” season 2 will premiere on September 22 on NBC.
