Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia is ‘literally so good’ after Zach Bryan Split
Brianna LaPagliaaka Brianna Chickenfry, is done with men after her bitter breakup with Zach Bryan.
After admitting she was blindsided by the breakup earlier this week, the podcaster took to social media on Saturday, October 26, to reassure her followers that she was doing well.
“I am literally such hot best friends,” LaPaglia, 25, wrote through her Instagram storyand added, “F-men and kill them all lmao.”
She also shared that her friends had sent her cupcakes to cope with the breakup, which meant they were supposed to read “his loss,” but instead made a typo so they read “his loss.”
LaPaglia further addressed the split in other posts shared via her Instagram Story, writing: “Remember when I put my life on pause for a man. Forgive me, I’m only human.”
On Tuesday, October 22, Bryan, 28, confirmed that he and LaPaglia had split after a year of dating.
“Addressing something: Brianna and I broke up [SIC] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” the country singer shared in an Instagram Story statement. “She has loved me unconditionally for a long time and I will always thank her for that.”
He continued: “I have personally had an incredibly difficult year and have struggled through some pretty serious things. I thought it would be helpful for both of us to date in different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.”
The country singer then urged fans to give the former couple space to navigate the breakup in privacy.
“If it’s in your heart, so is mine,” he added. “I’m sorry for everything I am and everyone I’ve let down. I do my best in everything. I have failed people who love me, especially myself.”
For her part, LaPaglia responded via her Instagram Story by revealing that she didn’t see Bryan’s public post coming.
“Hey guys, I’m really feeling blindsided right now. “I’m going to be off social media for a while and try to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk,” she wrote. I love you guys so much, thank you for all your kind words. Remember that you are so loved and everything will always work out.
Echoing the sentiment in a YouTube video posted shortly afterwards, LaPaglia shared her devastation.
“How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be thrown away within a few days,” LaPaglia said. “It’s really heartbreaking and I don’t want to talk about details right now.”
The couple made their relationship public in July 2023. At the time, LaPaglia described their romance as “fun” and “casual” when she talked about it on her podcast.
Rumors started swirling that they had called it quits earlier this month when LaPaglia posted a cryptic handwritten note via Stories on Monday, October 21.
“And in the end, you will find that life goes on even when you don’t want it to,” her message read. “The days will pass and the world will be moving while you ask it to stop. You will believe that life is cruel if you continue with your feet stuck.”
LaPaglia continued, “You will find people and moments to blame for your concrete feet. Then comes a morning when you wake up and realize that everything goes on: life is not cruel, your feet are too. The world keeps turning in the hope of showing you that you can do it too.”
