Brian Tyree Henry in New Apple TV+ Show

The new trailer for the Apple TV+ series “Dope Thief” has been unveiled and shows Brian Tyree Henry and Wagner Moura in action after they have robbed the wrong house.

‘Dope Thief’, based on the book by Dennis Tafoya, follows ‘Dope Thief’ lifelong friends (Henry and Moura) who see their lives apart after a robbery unravels corridor. The cast also includes Marin Ireland, Kate Mulgrew, Nesta Cooper, Amir Arison, Dustin Nguyen and Ving Rhames, where Ridley Scott directed the first episode.

“Dope Thief” will premiere on Apple TV+ worldwide with the first two episodes on Friday 14 March before new episodes fall every week.

David Blaine pushes the limits of what is possible in the new trailer for the National Geographic show “David Blaine don’t try.”

The six episodes in the season include Brazil, Asia, India, South Africa to Japan, while Blaine explores the world and test endurance. The show also reveals a more personal side of the world -famous magician while exploring the culture and history from the places he visits.

The series is produced by Imagine Documentaries for National Geographic and will premiere on March 23 before he streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.

In the Black Network, its entertainment programming is expanding with a special Latino division, which contributes to the network of the free streaming service that has traditionally emphasized black voices.

Producer Liana Mendoza becomes the curator of content for the new ITBN initiative. The first film acquired under the division is ‘The Low End Theory’. The Indie crime thriller played at both the New York Latino and Guadalajara film festivals and tells the story of a beat producer that navigates through the underground hip-hop scene in Los Angeles.

“The Low End Theory” represents the ideal project to launch the Latino division of ITBN, which will serve Latinx -audience worldwide by presenting authentic, original and inclusive stories, “said in the Black Network CEO and founder James Dubose in A statement. “This is a crucial step in the extensive mission of our platform to offer content that entertains, and emphasizes different cultural stories.”

ITBN is celebrating its new debut on the streaming platform with a red running premiere on Thursday 27 February in the Fine Arts Cinema in Beverly Hills.

The Gotham Television Awards return for the second year and are currently accepting submissions.

The deadline to submit is 24 March. There are twelve categories, including breakthrough drama series, Breakthrough Limited Series, Outstanding Lead Performance in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Performance in an original film.

“For the 2nd annual Gotham Television Awards we are very happy to build on the incredible success of last year’s inaugural event,” said Jeffrey Sharp, the executive director of the Gotham Film & Media Institute, in a statement. “The reaction of both the industry and the public was overwhelming and we look forward to honoring even more groundbreaking television series and performances in 2025.”

Nominees will be unveiled on April 29, with the ceremony place on 2 June in New York City. Earlier winners are Andrew Scott for “Ripley” and the “Baby Reindeer” series.
