Breaking Travel News and Pacific Asia Travel Association Announce New Media Partnership | News


Breaking travel news (BTN) has announced a new media partnership with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA)strengthening the collaboration between two influential voices in the global travel and tourism sector.
Under the agreement, Breaking Travel News will serve as a supporting media partner for two of the association’s flagship events in 2026: the PATA Annual Summit (PAS 2026) taking place from May 11 to 13 in Gyeongju City and Pohang City, Republic of Korea, and PATA Travel Mart (PTM 2026) from August 18 to 20 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Through the partnership, Breaking Travel News will provide global editorial coverage, digital promotion and multimedia distribution for both events. Activities include editorials before, during and after the events, promotional placements on the Breaking Travel News website and newsletters, and special branded video playlists highlighting host destinations and industry leaders. Social media distribution will further expand coverage for BTN’s global audience of travel industry professionals.
In return, PATA will recognize Breaking Travel News as an official supporting media partner on its digital platforms and event marketing materials, including branding on event web pages, marketing materials and on-site media backdrops at both PAS 2026 and PTM 2026.

In addition to the two events, the partnership will extend to an ongoing editorial collaboration focused on thought leadership and industry insight. Breaking Travel News will work with PATA to highlight the perspectives of its members, share analysis on emerging tourism trends in the Asia Pacific region and amplify conversations around innovation, sustainability and destination development throughout the year.
