Breaking Beauty: editors Try Charlotte Tilbury’s collagen lip gloss
Every lip gloss queen’s dream!
In this week’s episode of We weekly‘S Breaking Beauty serieseditor-in-chief Crista Laqcua and me (assistant editor Grace Riley) drop Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Collagen Lip Bath Gloss to the test.
The gloss ranges in nine luminous shades, from pastel pink to brown, and retails for $35. Infused with collagen and vitamin A, the high-gloss gloss plumps lips and keeps them super hydrated.
“I’m obsessed with everything Charlotte Tilbury does,” Crista said as she applied the pigment to her pout in the shade Pillow Talk Fair. “It’s magic on your face.”
After swiping the product over her pout, Crista immediately commented on how “amazing” it felt on her lips, with a slightly minty feel. Although Crista loved how the gloss looked on its own, she thought it would also pair well with a brown or nude lipstick underneath to give a ‘cherry cola’ effect.
Upon opening the shineI loved that the applicator brush had a graceful heart shape, which made it easier to line the lips. It also had nice pigmentation, giving my lips a nice pink tint.
Crista and I agreed that the gloss can be worn for any occasion; It’s not too overwhelming to wear to the office, but can also be perfect for a date night, brunch or evening out.
