Bravo announces April 1 premiere

Bravoholics rejoice: “The Valley” returns for its third season on April 1. And this time, fans can expect to see two very familiar full-time faces on their screens: “Vanderpump Rules” alumni Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz.
From babies to breakups, there’s a lot of change – and, as always, drama – happening within this group of friends in the upcoming season. Although Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez Booko have done their best to make their marriage seem perfect, a fourth child and a recent move to Santa Clarita make it difficult to keep up; After welcoming a baby of their own, Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick adjust to the changes of parenthood while their relationship takes a back seat. Newly single Brittany Cartwright is working on getting her “sparkle back” (mommy makeover and all), but reconnecting with her old Kentucky flame has people in the group wondering if it’s all happening a little too quickly.
Schwartz, who first hit our screens as a male “mactor” (that’s a model and actor) in Season 1 of “Vanderpump Rules,” returns to Bravo after a tumultuous few years and a divorce from fellow “Vanderpump Rules” original cast member Katie Maloney. He wants to settle down and is focused on finding his forever person – even if that means upsetting the balance of the friend group. Kent made her television debut as a fiery hostess in season 4 of the reality show. Now she’s focusing on being a single mother to her two daughters as she approaches her seven-year sober anniversary. Both Kent and Schwartz appeared in season 2 of ‘The Valley’.
Returning “Valley” cast members include Jason Caperna, Janet Caperna, Jasmine Goode, Jesse Lally, Michelle Saniei and Zack Wickham. Goode’s fiancée Melissa Carelli, Wickham’s boyfriend Benji Quach return to the cast as friends, and Lally’s girlfriend Lacy Nicole will appear on the show for the first time.
Notably absent from the cast is Jax Taylor, who Variety previously reported had stepped away from the show to focus on his mental health and recovery. (Ahead of the season 2 premiere, Taylor revealed that he had been addicted to cocaine for more than twenty years; in season 3, he spent 30 days in a mental health facility before returning to the show. Taylor and Cartwright’s storyline in the second season of “The Valley” was made for dark television.)
“The Valley” was first conceptualized by executive producer Alex Baskin as a spinoff series from “Vanderpump Rules,” focusing on former SUR employees Taylor, Cartwright and Doute, along with a cast of their interconnected friends as they “trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley, while navigating busy businesses, rocky relationships and testy friendships.”
The episodes air at 8pm ET/PT on Bravo and stream the next day on Peacock. “The Valley” is produced by 32 Flavors and Evolution Media, an Amazon MGM Studios company. Baskin, Jeff Festa, Joe Kingsley and Brian McCarthy are executive producers for 32 Flavors Entertainment. Jeremiah Smith, Keith Burke, Lisa Vanderpump, Ken Todd and Ryan Revel also serve as executive producers.
